With the 11th anniversary of Bad Boys 2 this passed weekend, rumors started going around that a possbile 3rd installment is in the works . Martin Lawrence helped these rumors when he tweeted about the Bad Boy 2 anniversary . A lot of fans would be estatic if Martin and Will decided to make a Bad Boy 3 ! Lawrence tweeted about the Bad Boys II 11th anniversary over the weekend, with a possibility of the third film coming soon.
“11 years ago today, #BadBoysII was released in theaters. Feelin’ it’s about time for #3… what do you think Will?” he tweeted.
Back in June, the film’s executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer mentioned an outline for the script would be prepared by the fall.
Gabrielle Union, who played Will Smith’s love interest posted a Throwback Thursday picture of the cast in May, and also asked fans about the third film.
“Bad Boy 2 #Sid #MikeLowry #tbt … I’d hurt somebody if they closed the causeway and I’m trying to get somewhere … What the hell were we thinkin?! Lmao Action scenes, car chases… Lil love story… Should there be a 3rd?” she captioned the photo.
