James Wright Foley was an American Journalist who went missing in Syria two years ago on November 22nd. The 40 year old journalist was working for Agence France-Presse when he went missing.

One of the last people to see Foley was a Turkish reporter who was with Foley in Aleppo on August 2012 when the Assad regime was taking over.

Of the news, the reporter tweeted to the Washington Post,

“When I was looking for cover from Syrian regime’s jets, he was running w his camera to capture jets’ diving. Brave #jamesfoley #RIP,”

Originally from Rochester, New Hampshire, James Foley read a statement that seemed forced by his captors, saying,

“I call on my friends, family members and loved ones to rise up against my real killers, the U.S. government.”

The video appears to be a warning to the United States for them to seize their airstrikes in Iraq, especially in Mosul Dam.

In the video, the Islamic Militant is seen saying,

“Any attempt by you, Obama, to deny Muslims liberty and safety under the Islamic caliphate, will result in the bloodshed of your people,”

An earlier warning was given by the militants to halt all efforts of helping Iraqi and Kurdish militants in taking back an important dem in Iraq.

No official announcements has been made by the White House, however his family continues to express sadness and news through their “Find James Foley” Facebook.

“We know that many of you are looking for confirmation or answers. Please be patient until we all have more information, and keep the Foleys in your thoughts and prayers.”

According to reports, another journalist now maybe in danger, Joel Sotloff of Times, unless the United States retreat and suspend their involvement.
