The hit TV show, ‘The Cosby Show’ celebrates 30 years today. The sitcom’s star was the legendary Bill Cosby. Cosby played a doctor and a family man named Cliff Huxtable. 30 years ago on September 20th, 1984, the show made it’s debut. 30 years ago, ‘The Cosby Show’ which premiered on NBC Thursday night’s, became one of TV’s biggest hits. ‘The Cosby Show’ lead a lineup of NBC shows including “Cheers,” “Night Court” and “L.A. Law” which soon was followed by “Seinfeld,” “Frasier,” “Friends” and “ER.”
