So did he, or didn’t he? TMZ reported on Monday that dancer Jhonni Blaze called the police on Drake after members of his team threatened her after he believed that Blaze might go public with details of their “relationship.” This resulted in an investigation against the Toronto rapper. Now Blaze is changing her story, saying that Drake and his team did not physically threaten her, and is apologizing for the misunderstanding.

Jhonni Blaze called into the Madd Hatta Morning Show on 97.9 the Box in Houston Tuesday morning (October 7) to set the record straight on the Drake incident.

“I would never talk about nobody and I don’t have nothing bad to say about Drake,” Blaze said on the Madd Hatta Morning Show.

Blaze says that after she and Drake got into an argument, her friend told her some guys were looking for her.

“I never called the police on Aubrey,” she said, using his real name. “I actually called the police because my friend came home and she said that some guys said that they were looking for me. So, I documented that for my protection and for some odd reason people were calling me looney.”

Drake fans went in on social media, claiming that Jhonni was crazy and that she didn’t really know Drake. So, Jhonni leaked some text messages shared between the two.

“I’m not about to exaggerate the story. Me and him were just kicking it, being cool,” she said. “I went to his concert, I watched him perform. [We] were just supposed to be friends and we had some disagreements, some things were said, some threats were being made as far as argument and that was it.”

Blaze alludes that it was just a coincidence that men showed up at her house right around the time she and Drake were having arguments.

“This man did not send nobody for me. I just felt that it was weird that it happened at the time me and him got into it,” she said.

In the end, Blaze just wanted to protect herself.

“I did what was right as a woman and just filed a police report for my safety, in case something happened to me,” she said. “I apologize to the whole staff and whoever works with Drake. I apologize from my heart.”
