Aside from cashing checks to do nothing, it must suck being Peyton Manning’s backup knowing you’ll never get in the game unless something catastrophic happens. Yesterday as the Denver Broncos were annihilating the Oakland Raiders, Brock Osweiler thought his time had finally come but Manning had other plans.
The Broncos were up 41-10 and usually when a team has such a big lead the starting quarterback comes out so he doesn’t get hurt in garbage time. Brock Osweiler assumed that would be the case as he took off his cap and grabbed his helmet. As he turned around he saw Peyton running back on the field. His reaction is just too funny.
