Boxing champion Adrien Broner took a cue from Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson and laid out some heavy loot so some deserving kids could receive toys for the holidays. In fact Adrien Broner pulls up in an army truck with the goods.
Superstar boxer Adrien Broner unleashed the fury, of his wallet, spending a cool $10,000 to scoop up a ton of toys for kids on Friday, and even personally handed them out.
Hundreds of kids showed up for the giveaway at a boxing center in Broner’s hometown of Cincinnati. The former champ tells TMZ Sports he organized the toy drive in conjunction with the Toys For Tots Foundation, and Adrien Broner pulls up in an army truck full of loot.
Broner said he loves “to see the joy and happiness on their faces” and promised a second round of action when he hands out more toys in the same spot on December 22.
It’s really nice to see Broner thinking of someone other than himself and really giving back. Broner sure could use the positive publicity after making major headlines for his extensive partying, sex tapes and more. It’s unclear when Broner will fight again or who but hopefully he’s working on keeping his head on straight. He’s currently expecting a son with his longtime girlfriend.
