Back in August, Jeezy and his team were arrested during the Irvine, CA stop of the ‘Under the Influence’ tour he was on with Wiz Khalifa, in connection with a fatal shooting the previous night at their Bay Area stop.

Police had obtained and executed a search warrant on Jeezy’s tour bus, and turned up an assault rifle, so not only did they pin it on him, but 5 members of his team as well. They were all held on $1,000,000 bail, which days later, Jeezy eventually posted for everyone and they were freed. Of course, everyone pled not guilty, and Jeezy released the following statement:

“I will say this, a lot of people asked me why did I sit in there so long. The truth to that is — I’m a boss. But at the same time, I’m a real person. And it’s like those people on that bus — two of my bus drivers, which they was well over 55-years-old, my camera man, some of my manager’s people — they bust they a– for me on this tour and I refused to leave up out of that jailhouse without them coming out with me.”

And as they say, the truth shall set you free! It has since been revealed that the gun was registered to his security guard, who was hospitalized at the time of the search because of the Suge Knight shooting the night before in Hollywood. But the evidence was all there from the beginning, and cops still pulled some wild moves. Here’s what TMZ reports:

— The 2 guns were owned by Jeezy’s security chief, who was not on the bus. He was in the hospital because he was shot the night before during the Suge Knight shooting at 1OAK in Hollywood.

— Cops had inspected the guns 2 days before and determined they were NOT involved in the shooting at the Wiz Khalifa concert.

— The security chief purchased the AK-47 legally in Georgia, but it’s illegal to possess an AK-47 in California … yet the security guard was not charged. Jeezy and the other 5 people on the bus who were charged weren’t in direct proximity to the weapon when cops boarded the bus. The gun was in a case behind the security chief’s bunk bed, and Jeezy was in a closed, separate cabin. We’re told DNA results confirm none of the 6 people arrested even touched the weapon.

And it gets worse. Authorities held all 6 people on $1 MILLION bail, even though the recommended bail for that offense is $20K. All 6 defendants sat in jail for 4 days until they got the bail reduced.

All 6 had their money, jewelry, clothing and other personal items seized, even though it had nothing to do with the alleged offense.

Short story … the guns that were seized were legally purchased … the property of Jeezy’s security chief, and authorities knew it.

Crazy! Needless to say, the case has been totally dismissed, and I hope Jeezy and his team sue the life out of the LAPD!
