The Cavaliers are set to face the Suns tonight, and after yesterday’s practice fans went HAM for JR Smith as he made his way to the team bus. Hit the jump for details.

Is J.R. Smith from Phoenix? No.
Did he used to play for the Suns? No.
Does he typically cause crowds of people to go wild when he walks outside? No.
And yet, the people of Phoenix went nuts yesterday afternoon when J.R. emerged from a Cavaliers practice to get on board Cleveland’s team bus. We can’t really make heads or tails of it—J.R. is awesome, but…really?—but you can see the insane scene in the clip above.
LeBron James may or may not play against the Suns tonight. But even if he’s forced to sit out, it seems as though Suns fans will be just fine with it as long as J.R. plays.
