Florida Police Use Real People's Photos for Target Practice

This is too CRAZY. It’s been revealed Florida Police Use Photos of Real People for Target Practice after a family member of one of the targets found his picture shot up at a South Florida gun range. And as you can see, ALL the targets on this day happened to be young black men. SMH!!!

People are pissed and North Miami Beach police officers have explaining to do as news hit that Florida Police Use Photos of Real People for Target Practice. Six mugshots, all of African-American men were being used in what the North Miami Police Chief is defending as a “widespread practice among law enforcement who use photos of similar looking people for ‘facial recognition’ training.” (Riiiiight). He says the department uses targets of “all races.”

For something that’s (apparently normal) and “widespread practice” what’s stunning is the ‘reveal’ that Florida Police Use Photos of Real People for Target Practice. It was actually the sister of one of the men being targeted who happened to come across the scene.

“The man’s sister, a soldier in the Florida National Guard, discovered her brother’s face was being shot at by SWAT snipers when she arrived at the range to take part in target practice with her unit, according to a report by NBC Miami.”

Florida Police Use Photos of Real People for Target Practice and sounds like the department was ‘caught slippin’ if you ask me! The man who was identified by his sister had been arrested in 2000 and spent four years in prison for a drag race that killed two people. (2000?!? Imagine 15 years later finding your brother’s photo like this???). But something else is really not right here:

“The chief did say that it was a mistake to use booking photos of people who had actually been arrested by his department, and that in the future his officers will only use photos of actual human beings who were not arrested in North Miami Beach.”

Get your story right bruh…is it common practice or not?…

“NBC says it contacted Federal and state law enforcement agencies, as well as five different South Florida police departments, all who said they never, ever, use images of real people as targets.”

…uh huh. Well (run-tell-dat!) there you have it. How would you feel knowing your face was being used for target practice by an entire police department? Check the vid and the gallery, and see if you can try to stop shaking your head.
