Oh you ain’t know (Bobby B***h voice) … Rae Sremmund has been on the ball as of late. The duo debuted on the Billboard 200 at number five for the release of their debut album, Sremm Life. After three consecutive hits – “No Flex Zone”, “Throw Some Mo” and “No Type” – Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy from Mississippi says that the people may compare them to Kriss Kross now, but in one more year, they will be recognized as a modern day Outkast.

During a stop at Atlanta 107.9 for a chat with The Durty Boyz, Rae Sremmurd holds back no shorts of their success and takes a giant leap for hip hop kind when they put themselves on the pedestal of the famed “Sorry Ms. Jackson” twosome, Outkast.

Thoughts? Should they stick to the Kriss Kross comparison or do they have the potential to be Big Boi and Andre 3K? Eh, I’ll politely mention, Kriss Kross seems more fitting, especially since they’re telling the ‘5s’ to stay home. Besides that, how you gon’ say you ain’t got no type, but you have a type?
