Russell Westbrook channeled Marshawn Lynch and now Paul Pierce is channeling Westbrook. After putting up a triple-double and securing the win against the Golden State Warriors, Westbrook still wasn’t in the mood to speak with the media. He repeatedly said “we executed” and even told one reporter, “I don’t like you”. After Paul Pierce and the Washington Wizards defeated his old team, the Nets in Brooklyn, Pierce decided to follow suit.
Pierce joked with the media, shouting, “we executed, we executed” and said “I don’t like you” to one reporter. He even had on the Westbrook type glasses to complete the impersonation, although a ski mask would’ve been more appropriate in this situation.
The Wizards beat the Nets 99-90. Paul Pierce only finished with 7 points (on 2/9 shooting from the field), 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 turnovers, so he didn’t “execute” too well.
