This is really sad that all parties are playing with a innocent life like this. Apparently after Sherri and husband Sal called it quits, Sherri decided to walked away from the child.The 32 year old surrogate is now stuck with their baby. This story gets even more twisted.Technically the baby isn’t really Sherri’s because it doesn’t have her DNA?!?!?!?! Huh What are they doing. The child also doesn’t have Jessica’s DNA either. You really can’t interfere with The “natural process” of life all the time. It seems like all parties don’t want to take financial responsibility.Jessica the surrogate says her name on the birth certificate as the baby’s mother has impacted her financially; Hubby says “She offered me a settlement of $150,000, but it was not to have her name on the birth certificate. I can’t do that to my son,” he said before denying reports that he’s a “gold digger.”“There’s no amount of money to ease my worry about my son. If she would just do the right thing and we co-parent… That’s all I want.”; and Sherri has admitted to having to pay alimony for previous husband and really doesn’t want to dish out all of her coins again. The really tragedy is they created a new unwanted child when they could have adopted. There are so many children in need of a home. Full Interview below.

“It’s affected me a lot. I am now listed as a noncustodial parent in California. I have a child support case coming against me now.”
On life since Sherri left the picture:
“Because [Shepherd] doesn’t want to be a part of the baby’s life, I have to pick up all the slack with my name being on the birth certificate, a noncustodial parent, medical bills. I’m still considered the mother of a child that’s not mine.”
On being angry with Sherri:
“I am angry with Sherri because she never once contacted me to tell me what was happening. It was kind of like I was left out in the cold.”
On how Sherri changed:
“She would call up and check on me during the pregnancy in the beginning. At the 20 week appointment, she seemed very excited. She was going to see the baby for the first time…I didn’t see any warning signs right away.”
What she likes to ask Sherri:
“I would ask Sherri why she did what she did – if she thought it was okay to do something like that…I just don’t understand how she can act like this baby is nonexistent. It just blows my mind.”
