Texting is one of the most distracting things in the ENTIRE universe (I know this because I am 100% guilty of it myself), but there comes a point in time where the phone must be PUT DOWN and attention must be payed! A 27-year-old woman who goes by the name Sheena Keynna was texting and walking in Lakeland, Florida when she walked right into an oncoming freight train. She was hit on Monday afternoon by the train after Police Sgt. Gary Gross explained that she “wasn’t paying attention.” Keynna was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center where she was treated for a compound fracture to the right arm and a leg injury. However, overall she is VERY lucky to be alive.

Moral of the story: DO NOT TEXT AND WALK, TALK OR DRIVE! Put the phones down and pay attention, people.
