Blue Bell Creameries is under investigation by the Federal Food and Drug Administration after a confirmed 3 Dead in Listeria Outbreak Linked To Blue Bell Ice Cream!

Following the 3 Dead in Listeria Outbreak Linked To Blue Bell Ice Cream found in Kansas, the FDA launched an investigation into the major brand’s headquarters. Soon after the company recalled the “affected products” and had them removed from shelves according to the Washington Post:

“One of our machines produced a limited amount of frozen snacks with a potential listeria problem,” the company said in a statement.

The 3 Dead in Listeria Outbreak Linked To Blue Bell Ice Cream come after 5 people were hospitalized over last year also in Kansas. The last strong case of a listeria outbreak came with the mysterious rash of tainted candy apples late last year (SMH).

“A separate listeria outbreak was linked to pre-packaged caramel apples earlier this year. A total of 32 people became sick; 31 of them required hospitalization and at least one sick pregnant woman lost a fetus.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 260 people die each year from listeria.”

While the company confirms “Blue Bell’s cup, pint and half-gallon products are not affected by this current outbreak,” the FDA has apparently warned against eating any of the following products:
