Mike Zombie's first annual celebrity basketball game

On Saturday afternoon, OVO Sound producer Mike Zombie (“Started From The Bottom,” “They Don’t Love You No More,”) put together his first annual celebrity basketball game in his hometown of Willingboro, New Jersey, with all proceeds going toward the youth in the community.

“This Isn’t Just For The Kids To See Celebrities,” Mike said about the event. “It’s Also For Them To See With Their Own Eyes That People Are Doing Positive Things Where They Come From Or Even Close To Home! 609 !!!”

It was a packed house at the JFK Community Center in the ‘Boro, with tons of people coming out to see the likes of battle rapper Tsu Surf, producer Jahlil Beats, Philly rapper Gillie Da Kid, New Jersey rapper Kazzie (“Yeah Ok“), Mike of course, San Francisco 49ers’ Kendall Gaskins, Philadelphia Eagles’ Quron Pratt, Philly rapper Chill Moody, producer Critical and many more on the court.

Off the court there were plenty of special guests in attendance as well, including a handful of Eagles and Sixers players, Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers artist Omelly, yours truly (do I count as a special guest or nah?) and more. It was a really dope event and such a great way to give back to the community. I’m definitely looking forward to next year! Check out a few pics from the day in the gallery.
