Kanye West has been on a roll and now people can’t stop talking about him after his amazing Time 100 Gala performance. After covering Time 100 Most Influential People he was invited to perform at the Gala honoring the annual list of the 100 most influential people in the entire world. After a Tim McGraw performance the show started off with Mr. West walking on stage with James Brown’s “Its a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” playing. Showered in an aura of orange-yellowish light Ye’ proceeded to perform one of his newest tracks “All Day”. Surrounded by African American males covered in white chalk Kanye then performed 3 tracks from his most recent album “Yeezus” “Black Skinhead”, “New Slaves”, and “Blood on the Leaves”. He then finished with “Only One” a song inspired by his daughter and late mother Donda West. He then to the pleasure of those in attendance performed throwbacks “Good Life”, “Gold Digger”, and “Touch the Sky”. The crowd was filled with dignitaries, politicians, billionaires, and by the end of his performance Kanye had all of them up out of their seats dancing and enjoying themselves. Of course with no doubt Kanye’s wife and fellow Time 100 honoree Kim Kardashian was in attendance proudly watching and cheering for her husband. Amy Schumer also took it upon herself to take an interesting photo opp with Kim and Kanye. Kanye was super interactive at the Gala hugging fans, grabbing hands, and even handing the microphone to one of the guests to rap a part of the song “Gold Digger”. It’s clear that Kanye West knows how to get a crowd off its feet and increase the energy of the room. Congratulations to Mr.West on receiving the cover and for his highly talked about performance.
