Science fiction is slowly but surely becoming science fact in our progressing world of wearable technology. Fetch is a personal shopper, travel assitant, and travel agent all in one package. You can ask the new application “Fetch” any request from ordering a pizza to scheduling a flight with a flick of the wrist. See how the app works after the jump!

After installing it to your Apple Watch, you just tap the microphone icon and say your request. This request is then picked up by one of Fetch’s 58 concierges who are people trained and specialized in areas like travel, wine, shoes and more. Meanwhile, Fetch augments their capabilities using technology like natural language processing to process requests. “We believe the future is ‘AI plus human,’” notes Fetch CEO Tom Hadfield.

Fetch’s app returns the results of the requests to mobile users, offering them a quick way to complete their request. For example when you ask Fetch “Book me a flight to Los Angeles On Friday at 10 am” the result will come up and all you have to do is press “book now” and your airline ticket is booked for you and charged through Apple Pay. TatWza this is something straight out of James Bond. Right now Fetch is free and doesn’t add extra fees but does take advantage of affiliate programs. Plus, the company is working now to finalize a number of special fulfillment partnerships with retailers and suppliers.

In addition, though the service is free to use for the time being, the company is planning to a premium subscription service arriving next month. It will be more personalized and more rushed for the customers who want to pay the price.
