_Prince William & Kate Middleton Give Birth To A Baby Girl

Prince William and Kate Middleton give birth to a new baby girl. England now has a new little princess. Kensington Palace announced that ‘her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.’ Read more on the story and check out the photos in the gallery after the jump!

Hundreds of royal fans celebrated the announcement of the baby girl. Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed the healthy baby girl at 8:34 a.m on Saturday. The baby girl weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and is now fourth in line to the British throne. She follows her grandfather Prince Charles, her father and her big brother, Prince George.

Kate delivered the new baby girl in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London which is the same place that her son George was born in July 2013. Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry, were also born in the same wing. Kate Middleton gave birth to her less than three hours after it was announced that she arrived at the hospital. Prime Minister David Cameron said, “Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their baby girl…I’m absolutely delighted for them.”
