WOW, if this report is true (and it really seems to be) that Clippers Matt Barnes cursed at James Harden’s mom last night, the league HAS to step in and do something, otherwise game three could turn into a brawl.

@IamJoeSports

*UPDATE*

James Harden’s mother, Monja Willis, says that Matt Barnes apologized to her after the Rockets vs Clippers game was over last night for his disrespectful comments earlier in the game.

As you know we reported that after Barnes pushed Harden and picked up a technical foul, he allegedly started talking trash to Harden’s mom, allegedly saying “suck my d*ck, b*tch”. Willis’s older son wasn’t having that and confronted Barnes after the game and told him to go apologize to his mother.

Monja says, “What he told me was that he would never want to disrespect anyone’s mother because his mother passed from cancer … and that he was sorry.” “I accept his apology.”

Willis wouldn’t say exactly what Barnes said to her at the Toyota Center in Houston during Game 2 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals … saying, “We’ll leave that on the court.”

At least Barnes did the right thing and corrected his mistake. Talking disrespectful to an opponents family is always off limits.

*END OF UPDATE*

Multiple reports are saying that after Barnes bumped Harden last night, a move that resulted in a technical foul being called on him and Harden shooting a free throw, that Barnes then talked trash to Harden’s mom, allegedly saying “Suck my d*ck, b*tch”!

I mean if it’s real, how can Harden as a man not want to tear Barnes’ face off when they see each other for game three. Harden is also smart enough to realize his team needs him much more than the Clips need Barnes, but still that is a rough one to just let go.

Barnes is known to do whatever it takes to get under the skin of his opponents and knowing him he probably doesn’t think it’s even a big deal but trash talking a fan and trash talking the mother of another player are two different things.

Harden went off for 20 points in the second half and helped the Rockets take control of the game and this incident may have set him off and got him hyped.

Game 3 will be interesting to say the least!
