The Atlanta Hawks vs. Washington Wizards playoff series has turned out to be much better than any of us thought it would be. During game 3, Paul Pierce banked in a shot at the buzzer to give the Wizards a 103-101 win over the Hawks. Following the game Chris Broussard asked Pierce if he called “bank”, Pierce said no, he called “game”. During 5 on Wednesday night, Pierce hit another big shot, sinking a three-pointer to give the Wizards a one-point lead with 8.3 seconds left in the game. Following the shot he yelled “series” at the Hawks bench. Unfortunately for him, they had one more trick up their sleeve.
Al Horford grabbed an offensive rebound and made the game-winning putback layup giving the Hawks the 82-81 win and taking a 3-2 series lead over the Wizards.
