So many details about rapper Chinx’s murder that occurred Sunday at 4 AM in the Blairwood section of Queens simply does not make sense, but the NYPD is trying to help put the pieces together. During a press conference in regards to the Riot Squad member’s fatal shooting, a detective explained that video surveillance is currently being downloaded and reviewed with hopes of catching the killer. During the conference, a lot of new information has been revealed that could make this murder even more complex than it already is.

As previously reported, I explained the situation going on with Yemen, the 27-year-old former Coke Boys affiliate that was riding in the car with Lionel Pickens a.k.a Chinx when they both got shot. From what we knew prior, Chinx was performing in Brooklyn and then went to a hookah bar in Queens. When they got to the hookah bar, it was apparently closed so they left. However, this is the part of the story that threw me for a loop when I heard it during the press conference. Chinx had a third passenger in the car who he was dropping off on Queens Blvd. and 84th Rd. Guess where he got shot and killed at? Queens Blvd. and 84th Rd.

After going to the scene and checking it out for myself, there is not a doubt in my mind that Chinx’s murder was a complete 100% set-up by someone close to him. It’s extremely odd that whoever he was dropping off has not been spoken about or even mentioned thus far in any reports until now.

The Detective also revealed that they recovered 14 shell cases at the scene coming from the same exact gun. With that being said, they’ve determined that there was only one shooter. Reports have confirmed that the car with the shooter in it started hitting the Porsche from behind and then drove up to the driver’s side where Chinx was and proceeded to unload the rest of the clip into his body. Yemen was hit twice in the back and Chinx took the rest of the 15 bullets all throughout his body, leaving him lifeless in the front seat, as reported by a Dunkin’ Donuts worker who watched police take Pickens out of the car.

In my personal opinion, whoever he was either dropping off needs to be taken in for questioning immediately, if the NYPD has yet to do so. As far was the video surveillance is concerned, Chinx got killed right by a HUGE intersection. If you know New York streets, there’s cameras on every one. You mean to tell me I’m going to get a ticket if I run a red light WITH a video to accompany my fine but they can’t see a car shooting a silver Porsche up at 4AM when there’s a clear view? Unlikely.
