50 Cent and the cast of the show Power, have been seen in various places on their promo tour getting ready for the highly anticipated second season. After so much success of Fox’s hit show, Empire, the two shows have been getting a lot of coverage and comparisons.
Though completely different, many continue to compare the shows due to their casts being dominated by African American actors but the story lines are far from similar. However, the marketing genius that 50 is, he used Empire to promote this upcoming season. In one trailer, the words “Empires are built on Power,” were used to promote this second season. 50 is undeniably promoting Fox’s hit show while giving his show a boost as well.
50 On Power…
In this second season of Power, we can expect 50 Cent’s role as Kanan to be established more and get more of an understanding of his and Ghost’s relationship and backstory. If thus second season is anywhere as good as the first, then we are definitely in for some good television.
