IFWT_Kevin-Love-Cavs

As expected by many, Kevin Love opts out of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers and will become a free agent.  He still has the opportunity to re-sign with the Cavaliers on a long term deal but there are still several teams that want to meet with him and get a crack at signing the forward.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports:

If Kevin Love goes forward with visits in July, expect Boston to sell him on pursuing group of Love, Robin Lopez and…Paul Pierce.  Clippers offering bench guys to gain trade exception to pay Pierce, but If Celtics could get Love – Pierce is in play for Boston return.

Opt-out sets up Love to sign extension with Cavs, but teams want crack at pitching him. Another suitor promising to be aggressive: Phoenix.

The Lakers as mentioned before, will also be pursuing Kevin Love.

Free agency is definitely going to be interesting.
