Marriage and fatherhood seem to be showing us a softer side of Kayne West. The 38 year old rapper and designer opened up to Q Magazine and let the world have a personal glimpse of his softer side. He talks about the challenges of fatherhood and the guilty feelings he holds about the death of his mother. Hit the jump to see what else Kanye had to say.

Balancing children and a hectic work schedule his a challenge to any parent, but can be even more of a challenge if you are Kanye West. In his sit down with Q Magazine, Mr. West, daddy to his 2 year old daughter North reveals just how he manages to be a responsible father to her and still get through his work schedule. He said,

‘While (Nori’s) here in Europe I have to have six hours a day with her because otherwise I’ll just work and she’ll get scheduled around meetings. Instead, the meetings get scheduled around her.’

Awwww! Good for you Kayne. If this is how he prioritizes North we can only imagine how great he will be when baby number two arrives. His wife, Kim Kardashian West recently revealed the sex of their baby on the way and looks like Nori will be getting a baby brother.

Kanye also revealed during the interview how he feels his quest for success is the reason for his mother’s death. Honda West died back in 2007 after complications from cosmetic surgery. Kanye said,

“If I had never moved to LA she’d be alive. I don’t want to go far into it because it will bring me to tears.”

Poor Kanye, don’t be so hard on yourself!
