The Phoenix Suns are going all out to try and convince LaMarcus Aldridge that the desert is the best place for him to be. They reportedly have impressed him with how hard they are going for him, with now even the mayor getting in on the action.

With the Suns as one of two front-runners in the LaMarcus Aldridge sweepstakes, per Bleacher Report’s Jared Zwerling, Phoenix mayor Greg Stanton tweeted out a picture of a billboard to recruit the star forward.
According to Stanton, it will go up on Saturday.
Cool idea, but don’t hold your breath waiting on San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich to raise one. The Spurs probably are still the best place for Aldridge, but if you add him to the Suns roster, they also immediately become a legit contender.
