_Bill Cosby Is Accused Of Sexually Abusing Model At The Playboy Mansion

UPDATE:

In an official statement to ABC, Cosby’s representatives open up about the 2005 case.

“The only reason Mr. Cosby settled was because it would have been embarrassing in those days to put all those women on the stand and his family had no clue. That would have been very hurtful.”

Is it not embarrassing now? Oh, okay.

Lawyer Gloria Allred, who represents several of the women who have accused Cosby, said about time.

“This admission is one that Mr. Cosby has attempted to hide from the public for many years and we are very gratified that it is now being made public.”

I definitely did not see this one coming. After months and months of allegations and new women coming out of the woodworks accusing the comedian of drugging and raping them, documents show that Cosby actually already admitted to this.

At one point, it was getting out of hand at the amount of women that were accusing Bill Cosby of drugging and raping them. I mean, it was like a new woman every couple of days. Well it looks like all of those women’s claims may now prove to be true after the Associated Press went to court in order to obtain documents from a previous settlement that Cosby was involved in.

Back in 2005, in a deposition, Cosby admitted to drugging a woman with a sedative. He apparently gave the woman three half pills of benadryl; however, at no part did he admit to raping the woman. Bill Cosby ultimately settled that case out of court under undisclosed terms.

Ironically, Cosby’s current legal team was aware of the deposition and begged for it not to be released after saying it would embarrass their client. The Associated Press attempted to reach out to the legal team following the release of Cosby’s deposition, however, they were not able to make contact or receive calls back.

After all this time, it is not too surprising that the allegations were actually legit–at least in one case–but more so that it took so long for the documents to be released and made public. More than 12 women have accused Bill Cosby of some sort of sexual abuse, so I guess it would have to be a huge coincidence that they would all be conspiring against him.
