Earlier this week, Nicki took to Twitter to express her feelings on lack of Video Music Awards nominations with the single, “Anaconda.” To her, the numbers were not adding up. “There just seemed to be a lil’ funny business going on,” she said. Due to the fact she broke the Vevo record, and the single’s “cultural impact,” it should have been amongst her other nods. “I do think if it would have been one of the pop girls, they would have had many nominations for it.”
Nicki clears up the meaning of her tweets, and also confirms that Taylor Swift, who was in the dark about her meaning, apologized to her, and they even hashed out their differences on the telephone. “We spoke for a long time. We were cracking up laughing on the phone. It’s over you guys,” she says.
