Bobby Shmurda has been sitting in jail for over seven months now and is facing multiple weapons and drugs charges. He’s already turned down his plea deal, so could potentially be facing up to 25 years in prison. His trial is set for October, but it looks like thing could be getting worse for the rapper after his so-called “girlfriend” smuggled a shank into the prison. Shmurda could now be facing an additional seven years.

We recently reported that Bobby Shmurda’s “girlfriend” Kimberly Rousseau arrested for smuggling a knife into the jail. She attempted to pull the knife, wrapped in a latex ballon and electrical tape out of her bra but was caught. She’s now facing up to seven years behind bars for promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Shmurda then went on to say that this woman is not his girlfriend but just a fan. Bobby’s team referred to her as “random fan who was able to gain access to Shmurda during visitation.” However, we now have learned that this fan could have just earned the ‘Hot Boy’ rapper an additional seven years to his sentence.
Shmurda appeared in court yesterday and pled not guilty to felony and misdemeanor charges of promoting prison contraband, perjury, and criminal possession of a weapon.
Both Bobby Shmurda and Kimberly Rousseau have pled not guilty.
