Although the Atlanta trio Migos is currently functioning as a duo, they’re still out here making some serious noise!
Takeoff and Quavo stopped by to chop it up with DJ Whoo Kid and revealed that they’re follow up album to “Yung Rich Nation” is already finished. They also revealed that they have a track recorded with Weezy sitting on ice.
“We actually got a record with [Lil Wayne] in the vault that’s crazy,” Quavo explained. “It’s called ‘Fantastic.’ “We’ve got another album that’s sitting back already.”
When Whoo Kid asked the ATL natives about their reasoning behind changing the album name to Yung Rich Nation from Yung Rich N*gga, they explained it’s a better marketing decision so they can relate to their white fans, as well as the streets.
They also got into detail about Offset’s current prison stint.
“It definitely ain’t cool ’cause you know it ain’t cool having nobody in there,” Quavo says about Offset being incarcerated. “When we first started, he was locked up. It’s just unfortunate. We did the same thing. We was all together. We know how to do it. We know how to hold him down. He know that we got the rock.”
