“9 Shots”

Curtis Jackson a.k.a 50 Cent revealed he’s been in the lab cooking up a new mixtape. During his live broadcast on the “Hang With” App yesterday, 50 let his viewers know how inspired he was after the immense positive feedback from his most recent single “9 Shots.” Since everyone liked the song so much, 50 “might” release a new mixtape prior to the release of his upcoming album.

“I might put a tape out in the next couple weeks,” he said. “Some grimey shit on this one. It’s some other shit. I was kinda inspired by some of the stuff that you see me doing in the ‘Power’ show, so we kinda get crazy.”

50 also said that he’s aiming to fall back on his “original style” for the new mixtape. He guarantees brand new production and new energy. According to his live session, the G-Unit founder plans to release his batch of tracks before the release of Street King Immortal in November.

“The response I’ve get from ‘9 Shots’ made me feel like you’re gonna love what I’m gonna come with right after this. I’m gonna keep going. It ain’t gonna stop. It’s gonna be one after the next one until I put the record out. So I’ve been working.”
