LeBron James signed a mega production deal with Warner Bros and reignited speculation that he would star in Space Jam 2; a possible sequel to the iconic Space Jam that starred Michael Jordan.  James has hinted about the movie before and although he won’t come out and commit to it actually happening, he once again gave hope to people who want to see it.

James sat for an interview with TODAY’s Willie Geist and discussed the LeBron James Family Foundation sending 1,100 Akron kids to college.  He also discussed his role in Trainwreck, the partnership with Warner Bros and of course Space Jam 2 came up.

Willie Geist: You’ve talked about wanting to do a Space Jam 2, will that happen now with LeBron James in it?

LeBron James: We hope so.  We’re definitely missing Bugs and Daffy and Tasmanian Devil and every last one of them, so hopefully we can do some great things.
