Wes Craven has passed away at the age of 76.

I know as a kid I was scared to go to sleep after watching any of the “Nightmare On Elm Street” films fearing that Freddy Krueger would come and get me. Wes Craven was also the mastermind behind the “Scream” series as well. I’m sure I’m not the only one who was afraid. Well the person who scared us to stay awake has died. Unfortunately the legendary film maker lost his battle with brain cancer. According to his family, he passed in his Los Angeles home. R.I.P.
