Royce Da 5’9″ took to Twitter to announce a new project with DJ Premier might be on its way. Hit the jump to see what he has to say about the project.
The Detriot rapper started out by launching the hashtag, “#PRhymeTWO,” on Twitter yesterday, before hitting Premier with some motivation, writing “I need to let these ideas out my brain bruh.”
After that, he called out to Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and The Game, looking for potential collaborators — “real lyricists” who are “ready to spar”.
At the moment, no one has publicly responded to his thoughts, but Royce certainly has enough stain to pull it off. The prospect of new material from Royce and Premier, and getting those heavy-hitters on board would be amazing for fans that love lyrics.
