Donald Trump, why you always lying? In a recent interview with CNBC, Donald Trump was asked about his campaign tactics and if they are aimed at soothing white American fear, The Donald counters that claim by saying he has a large black following.

The same guy who said Mexicans have no place in the United States and the same guy who says #BlackLivesMatter is a hate group, insists that he has a large black following behind him. HOW DONALD, HOW? However, in his interview with CNBC, Donald was asked, “What would you say to someone who said that the core idea of your campaign is appealing to to fearful, anxious, white Americans and encouraging the belief that their problems are because of people who look different than them and have different features than them?” Donald Trump’s follow up to the question was, “No, I don’t think so. You know, my audiences are very–many blacks.” LMAO. Man, none of the black people I know are in support of The Donald.

According to Vibe Magazine, Trump was alluding to a recent poll that points out that Donald Trump is apparently in the lead with the African American vote by 25%. Vibe also points out, that percentage is twice the amount of black voters that even support the Republican party.

One important thing that I did take away from Trump’s argument that may or may not be true but still holds importance when it comes to the black vote is, “…they said if the election were to be held and you got 25% of the black vote, like in this poll, the election is over. You win.” Whether or not that is true, it speaks volumes to the fact that our voices are very important in the voting world. This go around seems much harder compared to the last two elections because we had a front runner for who we wanted in office, but since that does not seem to be the case right now, we have to pay attention to these candidates and their potential policies–especially the Democratic candidates–to make sure that we continue move forward with attempting to gain political equality as we have with President Obama.
