Hollywood Star Arrested Trying To Enter US
The actor that starred in “Brokeback Mountain” and “Independence Day” and his wife Evi claimed asylum in Canada in 2010 saying they were in fear of their lives to escape a group they called the “Hollywood Star Whackers.” They said the group’s objective is to murder American celebrities.
Reports say border officials say the couple are fugitives from justice in the United States over alleged illegal squatting in a US home that they used to own.
According to police, Friday evening they attempted to cross into Vermont.
