So we’ve heard a lot of chatter about whether L.A. Reid is right or wrong on not bailing Bobby Shmurda out of jail. Reid claims that the label is not making the money that they once use to make. He says that the time period that we are now in is different now than it was back then.
“Bobby Shmurda is not the same as Snoop Dogg and Murder Was the Case, who’s coming off The Chronic and his first album. It’s a different era, you know? And we’re a publicly held corporation. We just aren’t in the same position we were in back in those days. So, it’s a different day.”
Bobby and his mother called in on “Ebro In the Morning,” to discuss bobby and his sentence.
We now learn that Bobby has been denied bail again. He has the 10 percent to pay but they refuse to free him unless he pays the full $2 million collateral. Bobby claims that he feels like the judge is trying to make an example out of him. Bobby was asked if he had been in contact with Reid or the label at all and he replied, “I haven’t get in contact with them in a long time.”
