In April, the record had already sold 7.75 million records. In only 7 months, the album sold more than two million records. For a song that came out three years ago, that is absolutely insane!
Many top artist still have yet to go Diamond. Beyonce, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, and more still haven’t joined the 10 million club for a record!
No matter what you think about the two, their impact in music must be applaud. Did he deserve all those Grammy’s over Kendrick? No. Would he have sold that amount of records if he was black? Probably not. However, he did it so don’t hate on success.
