Jahlil Okafor has not had it easy as the beginning of his rookie season has unfolded and he finds himself in more off the court troubles than not.

ESPN reported that the Philadelphia 76er was stopped earlier this month for driving over 100 mph on the Ben Franklin Bridge.

The Ben Franklin Bridge is what connects Philly and Camden and was also the scene where Philadelphia 76er, Jahlil Okafor was pulled over for reckless driving.

Okafor recently made multiple headlines after he found himself in a fight outside of a nightclub during Thursday’s early morning hours. According to ESPN, police officials decided against opening an investigation for the incident unless someone came forward to speak as a witness or victim.

This weekend, Boston police reported that a man filed a report against Okafor in regards to the nightclub scuffle.

The 19-year old rook was part of a similar situation at a Philly nightclub in October when he exchanged words with another clubgoer. That incident resulted in a gun being held at Okafor’s head and a bad taste in the 76ers’ mouthes.

The 76ers front office has yet to make any statements regarding their young trouble child, but this is definitely not the first impression that any athlete wants to make for their new team, league, or fans.

Okafor is going to have to get it together if he expects to have a successful career in the NBA.
