It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas will be here before you know it and you know what that means? Holiday work parties! I am sure that most working people have attended a holiday work party at one point in their life. The work holiday parties are interesting because you find out how your co-workers are after they have had a few drinks. While some employees are chatting and laughing there are those other employees who are getting trashed at the open bar. According to a survey of 2,000 adults conducted by U.K. lingerie retailer Ann Summers, 39 percent of people say that they’ve had sex at the annual Christmas party hosted by their employer and over half confessed to locking lips with a co-worker at the office party. Yahoo Health reports that the survey found that those in senior management roles were more likely to get into some risky bussiness at the annual celebration. 65 percent of senior managers who participated in the survey admitted to having sex at the bash, which is a significantly higher rate than the 28 percent of directors and 26 percent of junior staff members who admitted to partaking in office party naughtiness. As for where the hookups are taking place, most participants said the X-rated action goes down in the parking lot.

The study broke down the specific departments that are more prone to experiencing holiday party hook ups. 76 percent of participants working in IT admitted to having sex, kissing, and getting touchy feely during work-related events that involve alcohol. Legal departments came in second place with 74 percent. HR came in third place. Hmmmmm…..

“You spend so much time with your colleagues at work that it’s easy to fall for them, so the Christmas party is the perfect time to get rid of that sexual tension. Don’t be shy, have a cheeky snog and get away with it!”

said a spokesperson for Ann Summers.

Well I hope these people hooking up at the holiday parties are single and not in relationships. Welp…Holidays Everybody!
