We recently reported about the newest parody being added to the Wayans brother’s lineup of hilarious films, “Fifty Shades of Black.” In an interview with Bossip, Marlon Wayans who is set to star in the film says this may be the last of parody films for him. Learn why after the jump!

The newest installment of Wayans parody films is “Fifty Shades of Black” a spoof of the hit book turned movie “Fifty Shades of Grey.” In the spoof Marlon Wayans is playing a successful entrepreneur by the name of Christian Black who gets caught up with a young black journalist and later reveals that he’s a little more than crazy in the bedroom.

The movie takes you on a hilarious journey of the all-too-famous book, but adds twists of comedy pulled straight from today’s pop culture.

For me I thought, what if Christian Grey was black, he was rich, and we didn’t know how he got his money–from that, we could take it anywhere. It’s a funny movie. It’s a feel good movie. It doesn’t go too far, but it does far enough.

In an interview with Bossip the youngest Wayans brother, who also co-wrote the film, explained that he may be maturing just a tad,

I think this might be my last parody for a while. I think in some weird capacity – I don’t want to say I’m maturing. I’m forever 19 – but I want to evolve a little bit.

It’ll be sad to see his funny side go, but everyone has to grow up at some point in life. For someone who has been in the public from a very young age it is especially difficult to transition from what your fans are used to and the person you’ve become. Sometimes you just have to take that leap and hope for the best. In his case, we know Marlon will nail the serious roles in movies because he’s a great actor . . . it’ll just take some getting used to lol.
