If you’re one of the tons of people who have tuned into Netflix’s new docu-series Making A Murderer, you likely wondered along with the rest of us who this “international recording artist” was on the jury. I mean, not many names come to mind when you try to think of someone famous from a small town in Wisconsin…and that’s because they aren’t!

This mystery musician is Richard Mahler, who’s actually the same juror who was excused for the family emergency. He spoke with TMZ and revealed he’s definitely not an international star, and his band, The Rick Raybine Band, merely sang the National Anthem at a NASCAR event and opened for a couple of country acts in Wisconsin. That’s it.

Richard said a reporter once said he was an international artist during the trial, and everyone just ran with it from there. He’s way more famous now as a juror from the series than he ever was with this band, I’m sure!
