Kelly Rowland has advice for new mothers, and it’s to “write on your mirror in lipstick: ‘I had a baby. I’m a superhero.'”

Rowland and baby Titan Jewel Witherspoon covers People magazine, and the mommy of the 14-month-old takes the time talk about new mothers who should not worry about whipping their bodied into shape. Why? Because it will happen eventually.

“People think of exercise as tiring, but it actually gives you energy,” she says. “It takes about a year to get the weight off. Don’t beat yourself up if it takes even longer.”
