The peoples choice award didn’t waist any time capitalizing on the mistake of another man, though it was certainly entertaining. Just In case anyone got amnesia, during the 2015 Miss Universe pageant on live television Tv host Steve Harvey Crowned Miss Columbia the winner of the pageant, only to realize moments later that the actual winner was Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach. The Host had to De-crown Miss Columbia only after publicly apologizing. Of course that wasn’t enough to stop social media from going into a meme frenzy. Thought not the first to announce a wrong winner publiclly, he is the first to invite the runner up to his talk show to further discuss the issue.
Looks like Miss Colombia is done being mad at Steve Harvey because the Miss Universe runner-up has agreed to do a sit-down with the talk show host. According to Entertainment Tonight Ariadna Gutierrez will appear on The Steve Harvey Show the week of January 18th. It will mark the first time Harvey and Gutierrez have seen each other since Harvey made the blunder of a lifetime while hosting the Miss Universe Pageant. Harvey says he’s spoke to all other parties in the matter including the show executives, director, backstage personal and even Miss Philippines. Monday January 18th he will sit face to face with the runner up. Will you be watching?
