Well another coaching vacancy has been filled. The San Francisco 49ers have hired Chip Kelly as their new head coach.
The 49ers fired Jim Tomsula after one season for which he went 5-11 and the team missed the playoffs for the second year in a row.
Kelly was fired as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles before their final game of the season. He had an overall 26-21 record with the Eagles and was 6-9 this year.
