Big Sean released a statement about his choice to help out saying;

“I am devastated by the water crisis that has put the entire city of Flint in a state of emergency. In recognizing the great work that the Community Foundation of Greater Flint Michigan has been doing, it is my hope we can help by raising the money needed to ensure that the children who have been hit the hardest receive the care that they need today and well into the future.”

In an effort to get people to donate to his fundraiser Big Sean has promised anyone who donates at least $10 will be entered into a contest with a chance to win VIP tickets to a Big Sean concert in 2016. The campaign will wrap up on April 30th and five winners will be announced. You get more information and donate to the fundraiser here.
