What would you do if you woke up to look at the beautiful Florida sunshine state weather, maybe think about going to lay out for a bit, catch a tan, go swimming…and than you find this godzilla like creature staring at you from inside of your own pool? He violated. Hit the jump for the full story.

A Florida-Keys homeowner certainly was awake after seeing this early morning surprise of an 8 foot (2.4 m) croc in his pool.

Monroe County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Becky Herrin says the resident of Islamorada, Florida 83 miles (130km) south of Miami, called at about 7:30 am on Thursday to report the crocodile reigning over his backyard.

The photo above displays the cockiness and nonchalant attitude of this Florida croc as it goes to make it’s way out of the pool.

Herrin has stated deputies and officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission have safely removed the animal and returned it to its native habitat of the waters of South Florida and The Keys.

This crocodile is one of the larger crocodile species, with mature males growing up to 20ft (6m) and weighing a nearly staggering 2,000lb (907kg). An average-size mature male is just about (13ft) 4.1m., with females tending to be smaller.

About 2,000 American crocodiles are thought to live in the US (mainly in Florida).
