A tragedy in Alabama has one family heartbroken after a 3-year-old tot accidentally shot and killed his 9-year-old sister with a gun that was left on a nightstand at their grandparents house. According to family members in the house, the children’s grandfather left the gun on the nightstand before leaving out of the house, and no one else knew it was there. When the children showed up without notice no one knew they’d be in harm’s way.

After being shot in the head, the little girl was rushed to Children of Alabama hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Police are calling this incident a tragic accident, based on the story they could be right. Prayers up for this family during their tough times.
