NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors

Kevin Durant scored 40 points and 14 rebounds in addition to Russell Westbrook’s 27 points and 12 rebounds and Enes Kanter stepped up as well with a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds but all in all it was not enough as the Golden State Warriors beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-108 on Saturday night.  It’s clear that the Thunder are in fact contenders but they have two major road blocks in the Warriors and San Antonio Spurs.  Is it something they have enough firepower to over come?

via Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman:

As the Thunder navigates forward, two clear roadblocks remain in its way. OKC looks like a contender, but its 14 losses are more than the Spurs (eight) and Warriors (four) combined.

Is there any worry?

“We not scared of either one of those teams,” Durant said. “We gonna play our game. Nobody in this locker room is scared. We’ve got to play them. To get to where we want to get to, we got to play them. We ain’t ducking nobody.”
