After escaping from prison Thursday, Rafael McCloud held a family captive in their own home. After hours of being held hostage, the wife of the wife managed to escape and return with a gun. When she came back, she did what she had to do to protect her family.
The wife shot McCloud. She then free’d her husband who also shot McCloud repeatedly killing him. McCloud escaped jail after holding an officer at knife point. He went to a near by home with his homemade shank. A man and his son were going to their garage when McCloud approached them. This family was brave through this whole thing. The father suffered minor injures but the mother and son were not hurt.
