With all the nonsense going on in Los Angeles with D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young, the one question that is still unanswered is HOW a video Russell recorded on his phone wound up making it to blog sites and everywhere else. Russell continues to deny any knowledge of how the video went from his phone to the internet but yesterday we may have gotten some info as to what really happened.

@IamJoeSports

The website “Fameolous”, which was the first site to have the video of Nick Young talking about cheating on Iggy while Russell recorded, claims an ex girlfriend or possibly current girlfriend of Russell was the person who stole the video from his phone first. Russell was dating Sasha Mandros for a while but he has recently been linked to dating USC volleyball player, Niki Withers. No word if they are referring to either of these women.

They go on to claim the girl posted it online and a member of Nicki Minaj’s camp saw it and saved it before it was gone and just waited to the right time to leak it since Nicki and Iggy are not big fans of each other. They claim the video was sent to them directly by someone affiliated with Minaj. Now they did try to clarify by saying they aren’t sure if the person who sent it to them is just a hardcore Nicki Minaj fan who doesn’t like Iggy or if it was someone who actually has a relationship with Nicki. That scenario is still sketchy though because the video was too long for snapchat, which is one way they are saying the video got uploaded in the first place.

The video is months old but the timing of the leak may coincide with an appearance Iggy made on the Bravo network last week.

Iggy again made reference to Nicki not writing her own lyrics or at the very least getting alot of help with writing and the person who had the video thought that was the final straw and wanted to embarrass her knowing what Nick was saying on the video.
